Can we see that the head of pressured vessel is eroded with a lot of rust. May be casue by the acid aura and the high tempeture of oxygen .

The corroded reactor head of the plant would have been able to withstand more pressure than normal and continue operating safely for several months beyond the time that the plant was shut down federal regulators said Tuesday May 4 2004.
